What A Day!

Sunday is to be a day of rest, no?  Yeah, for whom?  It wasn't for me!

We went to church for 9:00 a.m. mass (beautiful!), stayed after for pancake breakfast (yummy!), went shopping for some shoes for my son (men's size 10!), came home and found a leak under the sink (bummer), dropped my kids off at my friend's house to play (fun!), came home and saw the dishwasher is full of grey, yucky, standing water in the bottom all the way up to the door (ugh!), went to The Memory Boutique Open House (awesome!), picked up my kids (sweet), came home for 25 minutes and quickly ate something gross from the freezer (not entirely sure what it was and the kids certainly didn't like it!), rushed off to teach religious education (inspiring), ran the kids out after religion to purchase a healthy meal consisting of double cheeseburgers, Big Mac Snack Wraps and french fries for dinner (heartburn), came home and stuffed my daughter in my bed (angelic once asleep!) and am currently fighting with my son (grrrrr!) to get him to bed while I try to type.  So far, he's winning, but not for long.

Today, I'm thankful for my wonderful children.  They are so sweet and loving and make me laugh each and every day.  There are times when they fight like cats and dogs and other times when they are so kind and loving to each other it nearly melts my heart!

Both of my children are so full of love and know exactly when I need a hug and a kiss, and they're both right there each and every time to make all the pain go away.  Today they both told me they loved me more times than I can count!  I am truly blessed and thankful for them.  I LOVE MY KIDDOS!

Sweet and "Saucy"
